Party bookings and special events such as Valentines Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s Eve bookings can be very time consuming (and expensive) to manage, when it comes to set menus.
You can do away with emails & telephone ping-pong, multiple documents and spreadsheets by using the pre-ordering module, that allows you to send the relevant menu(s) to the main host (the guest that makes the booking) with their booking confirmation. It is then down to the host (the guest that made the booking) to share the menu selection link with the other guests attending the reservation so that they can make their menu selection in their own time. Once everyone has selected their menu choices, you get a notification and you can also print all orders in advance for the kitchen team to pro-actively manage service on the day, including supplier orders and mise en place for the session.
The pre-ordering module is also fully integrated with our credit card modules to secure the reservation. Besides drastically reducing the amount of work involved with managing the pre-ordering process, additional benefits are that It also helps with kitchen mise en place on the day, ordering from your food suppliers and reduces wastage.
The menus can be sent automatically for both web reservations and telephone reservations.
