If a table takes longer to become available than the time you quoted a guest for a table, you can easily notify your guest.
Simply click on the record
Then click on the extra time you wish to add to the original waiting time:
System will ask you to confirm which method of communication you wish to use…
Select method i.e. SMS
The record in your waiting list will be updated. Notice that the elapsed time since creating teh record is also updated.
The guest will receive an SMS - when clicking on the SMS, it shows the new waiting time.
If the guest clicks on CANCEL, it will automatically remove that guest from your waiting list.
Whenever you update the table status, the record will add that action to the Waiting Record - this includes a time stamp.
