Creating an order block will disable all orders for the duration of that block. Depending on which of the option you use, you have a choice of blocking order for just collections, just deliveries or both.
From the main menu, click on Block Timeslots.
Click on Add Block Timeslots
The various elements of a block:
Block Type: Select Block Timeslot
Description: Enter a narrative that lets other users know why you have created that block.
Start Date: Enter the date when the block should be in effect. If it is just for one day, then the End Date should be the same. If you are blocking orders for a date range i.e. over New Year’s Eve period, then enter the date of the last day the block is valid until.
Start Time: Enter the time of the first time slot when the block should be in effect and the last time slots when the block should be in effect in End Time.
Note: if you want to resume taking orders at say 19:00, then End time should be 18:59.
Schedule: If the block is recurring i.e. every Monday between 16:00 and 18:00 you are not taking orders, then select a day / day range.
Block Level: Confirm if the block applies to Collection, Deliveries or both.
Click on SAVE
The block will take effect and no orders will be accepted for the stipulated date(s) and time(s).
You can create any block ahead of time to take effect in the future.
Deleting a block
To delete an existing block, click on the Delete icon.
Editing a block
To edit an existing block, click on the Edit icon.
