Sessions are key to manage the booking availability you want to create for each day of the week.
You can run a single session for the day i.e. All Day Dining
You can run multiple sessions in a day i.e. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
You can have specific sessions for specific days i.e. Brunch on Saturday & Sunday and Breakfast Monday - Friday or Afternoon Tea on Saturdays & Sunday only
A session is defined by a star time and end time i.e. Lunch 12:00 - 17:59. You can then create your availability for that session, as long as it is included within the time frame that you created. For example, if your Lunch session is set to 12:00 - 17:59, you can create availability from 12:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday, and 12:00 - 17:59 Saturday & Sunday.
Sessions are selected from a session drop down list.
When are sessions used?
Sessions are used when:
Defining your booking availability;
Blocking days, times, tables or areas;
Creating special offers;
Setting up credit card payment rules;
Managing booking length based on table size;
Managing cut-off times;
Blocking a session based on number of guests / bookings:
Adding a session regulation message on the booking widget;
