When creating a Special Offer (our generic term for any offering that is not the standard A la carte Menu), there are a few points that should be considered, in order to provide your guests with as much information as possible, so that they can quickly make an informed decision when considering making a booking.
The more information you provide to your guests, the better it is for both your guests and your restaurant. If the information is incomplete or ambiguous, then the guest may either:
Halt the booking process and leave (resulting in a lost booking) OR
Call the restaurant for further information (resulting in an additional overhead for the restaurant);
All information is there to enable the guest to make an informed decision. The attached menu includes all relevant information such as service charge, food allergies, etc… This means that the booking can be made without the need to call the restaurant.
Consider the difference with the offer below, that provides absolutely no information to the guests.
Which one of the above would you be more persuaded to book?

IMPORTANT NOTE:
GOOGLE RESERVE does not support ‘SPECIAL OFFERS’. Therefore, if you create a Special Offer, it will only be available to book when the favouritetable booking widget is displayed - on favouritetable.com, your website or anywhere else you use the favouritetable booking widget - this includes PRIVATE OFFERS.
As GOOGLE RESERVE does not support this feature, guests can only make standard bookings on that channel. GOOGLE RESERVE also does not support bookings requiring credit card details to secure a reservation or deposits paid as part of the booking process.
