We love new customers!
Restaurant owners all love their regular customers, don’t they? Returning customers are the coveted bedrock of cafes, pubs, bars and eateries the world over, because that’s what hospitality is all about – creating a delivering a wonderful experience which customers just can’t get enough of. Plus, of course, there’s the obvious business benefit of repeat customers: solid, reliable income; no cost of acquisition and an army of brand advocates. Yes, regular customers are cherished above all others, period.
Next to existing customers, there is another group which also gives restaurateurs a warm glow: new customers. For many, there is nothing better than receiving an online booking from someone new. The reason is simple: new customers are a recognition of all that hard work and they prove that the restaurant’s strategy is the right one. Something is working, and that is a fact to be delighted with, especially in the current climate.
