We’ve now used FavouriteTable since the beginning of 2019 and to be honest, it has now become a very important part of our business. The "Eddy" Pub has a strong food selection offering food on Sundays and therefore the ability to wake up in the morning and to see/know your bookings for the day that are cleverly laid out in a manageable way gives you a peace of mind and a better night’s sleep.

With the system we've been able to design the most effective table layouts, ultimately it controls the flow of customers through our doors relieving the pressure on our chefs and front of house staff giving the customers and ourselves a pleasurable eating/serving experience.

What we like most about Favouritetable is that, particularly ahead of busy times like Christmas, guests can pre-order and choose their courses in advance. This saves a lot of manual work for our managers and staff because the system allows customers to input details without any other human interaction.
Guests simply visit our website to make a booking and get a confirmation. Also, if we want to highlight a special menu, for example for our supper club the system allows you to choose this or book from our standard a la carte menu.
We’re currently offering Christmas party menus with various dining options, so the system does the pre-order for us and our team knows what each customer will be having.
This frees up a lot of hours and we can also run reports to track progress against targets. This means we can forecast the week ahead and manage orders based against the reservations we have.
Favouritetable further allows us to see how many times someone has booked with us previously so we can reward guest loyalty with a treat, like truffles on the house or free coffee. We can also note special occasions and surprise customers with things like a candle on a slice of cake.
